Maxim the Dog needs a home
Maxim is a white shih tzu, born 5/18/16. He was born and raised in a commercial breeding kennel, used as a stud dog, but when the breeder decided to cut down on the number of males she was keeping Maxim was surrendered to rescue.
He is extremely shy and frightened, and will need a patient, gentle adopter who has some experience working with unsocialized dogs to turn him into the pet he deserves to be. Because he is so shy, he will not be placed in a home with children. He is fine with other dogs.
He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative), wormed and dosed with Revolution for flea and heartworm prevention.
